Hi, I'm Lindsey.
I’m genuinely excited to meet and have the opportunity to work with you. I’ve known that I wanted to work in the helping profession for a long time. My journey began as an AmeriCorps member with Communities In Schools where I mentored students in an elementary and middle school. This experience inspired me to pursue a graduate degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin.
During my internships, I provided counseling to youth and adults at a grief and loss center, and then at a nontraditional high school for adults. My internships and current job as a therapist with an Employee Assistance Program have solidified my passion for providing counseling to adults.
I find great fulfillment in building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Many clients have described me as kind, attentive, curious, and genuine. I consider it an honor to sit with someone, getting to know them on a deeper level and providing support along the way. It’s been a goal of mine to open my own practice, and I’m very excited to be on the other side.
In my free time, you can find me listening to music or relaxing on my couch watching sci-fi and fantasy movies. I also love spending time with my friends, family, and dog, and taking care of my plant babies!
